In the world of music there are many genres to choose from, and one of the most admired (and often misunderstood) is the music referred to as 'ambient', or 'background works'. Pioneered by artists such as Brian Eno, Steve Roach, Jonn Serrie, Robert Rich, and a host of newcomers in recent years the art form has found a solid place in audio visual production and other media.
Bedford, Ohio composer Ken Myers has been distributing his ambient works both in CD releases and independent film production since 2006, and has now released his latest works "Scenes From My Mind", a collection of ambient music accented by new age classical pieces. Eleven tracks of melodic, mellow flow produced and composed by this fast rising ambient artist, available January 14, 2012 via all CDBaby distribution sites (iTunes,Amazon,Rhapsody,and more).
