Well Known Established Dance Band Seeking Experienced Female Vocalist!

Our Female Vocalist's husband is being relocated across the country with his well paying job, so we are in need of an experienced new vocalist. We have decided it is in our best interest to not post the name of our band, because we do not want to raise any concern with club owners or clients that we have bookings and higher paying private engagements with. We usually perform 4-10 times a month, mostly Fri-Sat, depending on the time of year, and a few Wednesday or Sundays during the warmer months. We perform mostly around the Northeast Ohio area, but we do travel now and then to PA, NY, Indiana, Detroit, Columbus....etc, only if we have a higher paying private event. We are primarily a dance band and we play everything from Motown, Disco and 70's-80's R&B, to more modern music and some Classic Rock. You would have to have the vocal ability to sing everything from Aretha Franklin and Cindi Lauper, all the way up to newer music such as Adelle, and in the original keys! We also have a Male Vocalist, so you would usually sing 50% of the songs, and also be able to sing good harmony. The rest of the musicians also sing back up. The pay is pretty decent, and our band has great players and equipment. Here are the qualifications we are looking for in a new Female Vocalist:

- Age....28-42
- Strong voice and good vocal range
- Attractive, with a nice figure
- Good attitude and personality, and a "team player"
- Good at communicating with an audience, and good stage presence!
- Responsible, reliable, and always on time!
- No "drama" with crazy boyfriends or husbands....etc
- Non smoker, and no problems with drug or alcohol abuse!
