You'll need six months Class A CDL OTR exp (Dry Van or Reefer) in the last 24 months, no major background issues and a safe place to keep the equipment (truck and trailer).
Home 48 hours on the weekend runs NORTHEAST, OH, IN, IL.
10-14 out home 48 hours runs TX, GA, NC, OH, IN, IL, and some Northeast.
(NYC would be extremely rare, carrier has dedicated fleet that runs nothing but NYC, but you should be willing. X-tra pay is offered).
$20 stop pay, $15 an hour detention pay (give 2), $45 layover pay, $150 paid orientation, paid holidays, up to 3 weeks paid vacation (calculated on a 52 week average), full benefits to include BCBS major medical, dental, life insurance, policy, pet policy, paid safety bonuses
HazMat not required to come in but you need to be willing to obtain it. Company pays $100 towards the endorsement and HazMat loads pay an additional .05 more per mile.
Starting mileage pay is depending upon experience and length of haul from .35-.60 per mile (.05 more per mile when hauling HazMat), breakdown of all compensation can be viewed by clicking on the link at the end of the ad underneath pre-qualifying application link.
Most of the tractors are Freightliner Columbia series, conventional style, some Cascadias. This is dry van freight.
